Study Summary:
Researchers at The University of Cincinnati are looking for people who have experienced compromised movement of their arm as a result of a stroke.
We are conducting a study that provides every eligible subject with 10 weeks of free occupational therapy for the arm. In addition, subjects have to mentally practice the activities that they are practicing in therapy.
Qualified Participants Must:
• · Be over the age of 18
· Have experienced a stroke at least 3 months ago
· Be able to move the wrist affected by the stroke slightly, even if its uncoordinated
· Have no or very little stiffness, pain, or joint restriction in their affected arms
· Have no implants such as a pacemaker, or implants that generate electrical signals and/or have moving metal parts
Qualified Participants May Receive:
10 weeks of free therapy for the arm
