Study Summary:

We are currently conducting a study to assess the efficacy of taspoglutide on glycemic control in obese patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus inadequately controlled with metformin monotherapy compared to placebo after 24 weeks of treatment.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18-75 years of age
• Have type 2 diabetes Have a BMI > 30 <50
• Metformin monotherapy

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Free medications and travel reimbursement.
