Local researchers are studying the safety and performance of a new home-based transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) device for subjects diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).



Criteria:
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
  • Be currently experiencing a major depressive episode of at least 4 weeks
  • Be taking at least one approved antidepressant medication (except bupropion)
  • Identify one or more adults willing and able to provide oversight and learn to administer the home-based tDCS


Qualified Participants May Receive:

There is no cost to participate and health insurance is not required to participate. Eligible participants may receive compensation for study participation.
