Study Summary:

This is for subjects who are currently taking metformin and are not having satisfactory results controlling their blood sugar. During this study a second oral anti-diabetic agent will be added to help control your blood sugar.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 to 78 years of age
• Have Type II Diabetes
• Currently be taking Metformin 1500 mg a day or greater
• Have hemoglobin A1C of 7.0 to 9.5

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Participants will receive all study medication (including Metformin), Diabetic supplies, lab work, physicals, and ECG at no cost. Subject will also be compensated for their visits.
