<b>Major Depressive Disorder - Tampa FL</b>

Adults with Major Depressive Order (MDD) in the Tampa area may be able to participate in a new research study at no cost. About the Study In this study, local doctors will test the therapeutic efficacy of an investigational medication as a supplemental treatment for adults with MDD to use with their current antidepressant therapy. 



Qualified Participants Must:

1. Have you been consistently depressed every day, most of the day for the past 6 weeks? (Must be yes) 

2. Are you currently taking an ATD for your depressive symptoms?  

If Yes: 

  • When was the last time you felt normal or close to normal? (If it was more than 3 years ago, exclude). 

If Not taking antidepressant/s:

  • When was the last time you felt normal or close to normal? (If it was more than 11 months, exclude). 

3. Have you been using narcotics/pain killers/alcohol/marijuana (either medical or not)/other street drugs regularly? (Must be no)

4. Do you have a BMI between 18-35? (Must be yes)

5. Are you between the Ages of 18-65? (Must be yes)


Qualified Participants May Receive:

If you qualify, the investigational medication will be given at no cost to you, and you will not be charged for any study doctor visits, laboratory work, tests, or procedures that are needed for the study. Reimbursement is provided for time and travel. You could receive up to $1,375 in reimbursement for completion of all study visits.
