Summary:
PPD is looking for adults, 18 to 74 years of age, who have a history of gastric bypass surgery or short bowel syndrome, to participate in a research study. The study asks that volunteers stay in our Austin clinic for 16 nights and attend 4 follow-up phone calls.
Criteria:Have a history of gastric bypass surgery or short bowel syndrome
Be 18 to 74 years of age
Refrain from smoking during the in-house stay at our clinic
Willing and able to commit to study visit structure including a 16 night stay in our <city> clinic and 4 follow-up phone calls.
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study related assessments and care at no cost
Meals and accommodations such as room, board, and high-speed internet at no cost
Compensation up to $9000 if qualified and complete all study visits.
