Study Summary:

We are currently conducting a study to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a weekly subcutaneous injection of an investigational medication compared with insulin in subjects with Type 2 Diabetes who are inadequately controlled on their current regiment of Metfomrin IR or Metformin IR plus a Sulfonylurea.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Have Type 2 Diabetes
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be treating with Metformin IR or Metformin IR plus a Sulfonylurea for at least 3 months
• Be experiencing inadequate control of your diabetes


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Investigational medication(s) or placebo, physical exam and lab tests, diet and exercise counseling, and compensation for time and travel.
