Clinical Trial 50753

Austin, TX 78758

Summary:

This study is to determine the effectiveness of an investigational antiseptic product. This study consists of 2 visits. You can choose to start this study on either November 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th or 18th and it will last 30-45 minutes. The second visit, which is the actual testing visit, will be 7-10 days later and last 1 1/2-2 hours. Between the first and second visits you will only use the toiletry products we provide to you instead of your own, so everyone’s hands are at the same baseline. The products provided include a deodorant, a bar soap, shampoo/conditioner, and a hand lotion. You must have pristine hands without any cuts, scratches, hangnails, rashes, burns, nail polish, or artificial nails on the day of your testing visit. For the testing visit, you will go through a series of cleansing washes before bacteria and the hand sanitizer are applied and a sample is taken. At the end, you will be thoroughly decontaminated. This study pays up to $125 upon completion.

To be eligible for this study you must be between the ages of 18-70. You cannot have any tattoos on your hands, wrists, or lower forearms. You also cannot have any prosthetics or implants inside the body, an autoimmune disorder, or diabetes. All genders and ethnicities are welcome.
