Summary:
This study is to evaluate an investigational drug that may help resolve COVID-19 symptoms faster in adults who are positive for COVID-19. The study will take place over 24 weeks,6 months. Participants who qualify will be taking an oral medication or placebo once a day for 5 days. There will be 6 study visits over the course of the trial.
Qualified Participants Must:
• 18+ years of age
• Have had a positive diagnosis of COVID-19 within the past 5 days
• Experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as coughing, shortness of breath, feeling feverish, fatigue, nausea, chills, headache, or sore throat within the last 5 days
• One or more COVID-19 symptom must be ongoing (still present)
• Participants must be generally healthy and meet a BMI criteria
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Compensation for time and travel up to $121 for each qualified participant per completed study visit. All study-related medication and care are at no cost to participants.
