Summary:

This is a Phase 1/2 observer-blind, multicenter, randomized, active-controlled, dose-selection study. The study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, immunogenicity, and persistence of immunity of a VZV modRNA vaccine against VZV (shingles) in healthy individuals 50 through 69 years of age.


The George Washington University is seeking volunteers for a shingles vaccine clinical trail who are:

  • Between the ages 50-69, healthy, and living in the DC metro area
  • Have never had shingles or received a shingles vaccine


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Participants will possibly receive a licensed VZV (Shingles) vaccine at no cost and contribute to research.
