Summary:
Our private clinical research site is conducting multiple studies for patients with depression (Major Depressive Disorder, or MDD). These are medication-based studies, researching new medicines that have been developed for the treatment of depression. Most of the medications being researched are not yet FDA-approved, and are in the later stages of research (phase II and III). No insurance is required and study participation is free of charge. All interested patients will complete a confidential pre-screening over the phone. Patients who are interested and who meet the initial eligibility criteria will then complete an in-person pre-screening visit at our office, with one of our clinicians (MD, PhD, or NP-C). If eligible for a research study, study screening assessments will include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and a medical exam including ECG and basic bloodwork. For more details, please speak with one of our staff members.
