Summary:

Cardiac Clinical Trial

This clinical trial seeks to find out if an investigational study drug can help prevent cardiovascular events, such as heart attacks, strokes, and cardiovascular-related deaths, in adults age 40 and over who already have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease.

Cardiac Clinical Trial Qualifications:

  • 40 years of age or older.
  • History of cardiac disease, including any of the following: heart attack, stroke, peripheral arterial disease.
  • Diagnosed with high LDL cholesterol.
  • Currently taking cholesterol-lowering statin drugs such as atorvastatin (Lipitor®), or rosuvastatin (Crestor®).
