Study Summary:

This study in ADHD is looking to add an adjunctive therapy to patients who are currently on a stimulant which is not treating all the behavioral symptoms of the patient's ADHD. Study medication or placebo will be taken twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening. Patients will be in the study for approximately 4 months during this time the visits will occur weekly in our office.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 6-17 years of age
• Be on a stable dose of Vyvanse, Concerta, or Adderall XR for ADHD for the last month
• Be able to swallow medication in a tablet form
• Weigh between 55-176 lbs
• Have a parent or a legally authorized representative to accompany them to every visit. This person needs to be able to make medical decisions about the patient.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study medication or placebo at each visit. A travel stipend for each study visit will be provided. The patient will be seen by a doctor at each visit and the study coordinator. All blood work, EKG's, physical exams and other study related testing will be at no cost to the patient.
