Study Summary:
A safety and efficacy evaluation of the study medication for persons that have gout and a history of cardiac disease like stroke or heart attack.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at least 50 years of age
•
Have experienced a gout flare in the past
•
Be postmenopausal, if female
•
Have a history of a cardiovascular risk factor such as heart attack or stroke (others apply)
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study medication, study related medical evaluations and laboratory tests, and compensation for visits attended.
