Study Summary:

A 12-week exercise program with the Cooper Institute to see if exercise is an effective non-medication treatment for depression.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be young adults 12-22 years of age
• Be depressed and sedentary
• Be generally healthy and able to exercise
• Not have medical conditions that would prevent exercise
• Not be participating in current vigorous activity (i.e. sports teams)

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Compensation for each session attended and follow-up assessments.
