Study Summary:

Do you have Diabetes?

You may be eligible to participate in a research study of an investigational inhaled insulin.

Today, local doctors are conducting a medical research study to evaluate whether a new investigational method for delivering insulin can be used safely and effectively as treatment for diabetes.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes at least 1 year ago
• Currently be receiving long acting insulin (e.g., Lantus, Levemir) but must not be taking mealtime insulin (e.g., Humalog, NovoLog, Apidra)
• Currently be receiving one or more oral anti-diabetic drugs (e.g., metformin, sulfonylurea, TZD)
• Be a non-smoking male or female between the ages of 18 and 80

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study-related medical care, advice about diabetes care, laboratory work and evaluations, investigational study medication, and reimbursement for your travel and time.
