Study Summary:

To determine the effectiveness of febuxostat compared to placebo on renal function in gout patients.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 18 years of age if male
• If female, be at least 45 if 2 years post-menopausal or at least 55 if receiving hormone replacement therapy
• Have had gout history for at least 6 month


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study related treatment, medication and $30-$50 per visit, depending on what procedures are done.
