Study Summary:

Researchers at Stanford University are recruiting parents for a Childhood Obesity Prevention Study. This study aims to compare two parent education series that give parents the tools to alter behaviors that may be associated with childhood overweight.

Participants must travel to Stanford University for a 1-hour survey and 5 weekly class sessions.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be overweight (BMI >= 27.5)
• Have a child between the ages of 2 and 4
• Be English speaking
• Commit to both the survey and classes


Qualified Participants May Receive:

5 free parent education classes, $100 for completing the survey, and $200 for completing the classes.
