Study summary

This trial is comparing HF10®, a medical-device-based therapy, in combination with conventional medicine,* to conventional medicine alone in people who have painful diabetic neuropathy (also known as diabetic nerve pain). Eligible participants will receive investigational treatment at no cost and may receive compensation for time and travel.


*Conventional medical treatment includes the use of medication, physical therapy, cognitive therapy, chiropractic care, nerve blocks, and other noninvasive or minimally invasive therapies.



Qualified Participants Must:
  • Have diabetes
  • Experience painful nerve (neuropathic) pain in their feet and/or legs
  • Have experienced neuropathy pain for more than 12 months
  • Have taken gabapentin (eg, Neurontin® or Gralise®) or pregabalin (eg, Lyrica®)?


Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study-related treatment at no cost and may receive compensation for time and travel.
