    Founded in 1998, St. Louis Clinical Trials has been a trusted resource in the greater St Louis area for both in-patient and out-patient studies for almost two decades.

  • Research Site Description:

    The state of the art 30 bed facility was built for the security and comfort of our research participants and includes access to an exercise area, TV, video games, computer with internet access, game room, nutritious and well-balanced meals served by a local catering company, as well as a smoking area (for studies that permit smoking). For convenience, we provide free parking and free transportation for all of our research participants.

    Our Physicians & staff

    Rick Mofsen, DO, and Daniel Gruener, MD are our research Investigators for our trials. Our well trained research staff are compassionate and understand the unique needs of each population that we serve through research.

    Dr. Mofsen founded St Louis Clinical trials, is board-certified in psychiatry and pain management, and has conducted over 200 clinical trials with a focus in Psychiatry.

    Dr. Gruener is board certified by the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as by the American Academy of Pain Management. He has conducted more than 250 clinical trials in Pain, Addiction, Opioid Induced Constipation, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety, Sleep Disorders, Alzheimer’s Disease, Hepatitis B & C, Diabetes and Smoking Cessation.
