Research Site Introduction:

Tristar Clinical Investigations is a top clinical research organization in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our knowledgeable team has over 25 years of experience in clinical research. Our clinical research facility tests the safety and effectiveness of investigational medications. And our goal is to prove there is a chance that the new treatment will work better than the one available now. We conduct phase II through IV clinical trials. Phase II through IV clinical trials further evaluates the effectiveness and safety of a drug, the effectiveness of a drug compared to other treatments and the benefits and risks of a drug. Phase I trials have been completed where dosing parameters and safety have already been determined. Plus, Phase I clinical trials each last several months to a year. We get involved after phase I studies have concluded.Our organization includes a team of dedicated and experienced clinical research doctors. Our primary investigators, Dr. Gary D. Yeoman and Dr. Howard Wenocur, are experienced physicians dedicated to conducting clinical research. Dr. Gary D. Yeoman, D.O. is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with a secondary specialty in Nephrology. And Dr. Howard S. Wenocur, M.D. is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, with a secondary specialty in Infectious Diseases. Our goal is to provide our patients with the opportunity to participate in the latest clinical research. And we appreciate our sponsors who have supported us throughout the years.

Research Site Description:

We are located in Northeast Philadelphia, in the Jefferson Health Building. 

We preform all visit in our office.=, (ecg's, labs, physical exam.)

Patient Demographics:

You may be wondering, “What are clinical studies?” A clinical trial is a research trial that is conducted using patient volunteers. The goal of a clinical trial is to find safe and effective treatments to help treat medical conditions and improve patient health. Here at Tristar Clinical Investigations, we are trying to prove there is a chance that a new medical treatment is more effective than a current treatment.

Volunteers who participate in a clinical trial will receive medical care at no cost. Volunteers will also be reimbursed for their time and travel. Additionally, you may be getting access to a brand-new treatment before it’s widely available. We want to help patients by giving them access to the latest advances in clinical research.
