Summary:

The research study involves an investigational medication to treat Type 2 diabetes that is being treated with diet and exercise only or metformin.

Participants will be asked to complete up to 17 doctor office visits for the study. The study visits will be every 2 weeks for up to 30 weeks.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Have type 2 diabetes that is being treated with diet and exercise only or metformin
• If female, not be able to become pregnant


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Medical exams, lab work (blood and urine), and ECGs, blood sugar monitoring supplies, study medication, and compensation for travel up to a total of $860 for qualified visits.
