Summary:
This is a phase II study involving an investigational medication to treat diabetes for subjects that are on metformin or diet and exercise. Participants will be asked to complete up to 17 doctor office visits for the study. The study visits will be every 2 weeks for up to 30 weeks.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have type 2 diabetes that are being treated with either diet and exercise only or metformin
•
If female, not be able to become pregnant
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Qualified participants may receive study-related medical exams, lab work, ECGs, blood sugar monitoring supplies, study medication, and compensation for travel. Compensation up to $860.
