Summary:
Do you have partial onset seizures due to epilepsy?
The purpose of the SEA (Sepracor Eslicarbazepine Acetate) study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for treating partial onset seizures in patients who are not responding well to their current AEDs.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be 16 to 70 years of age
Have had four partial onset seizures in the last eight weeks
Not have gone 28 days without a seizure o0ver the last eight weeks
Have been taking one to two antiepileptic drugs for the last four weeks
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study-related medical evaluations and the study medications at no cost. Reimbursement for time and travel may also be provided.
