Summary:

This study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication in 2 different dose levels compared to a placebo for the treatment of Opioid Induced Constipation in adults taking Opioid therapy for chronic non-cancer pain, 18-to-75 years of age. The study is a 10 week long study with 6 visits and 1 follow up phone call here in the Boise office. Patients will be asked to complete a paper diary daily and a nightly phone call and on a stable dose of an Opioid medication for at least 30 days. If you complete all visits and phone calls, you may be compensated for time and travel up to $805.00.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 to 75 years of age
• Be on a stable dose of opioid medication for at least 30 days for non-cancer pain
• Have a BMI of less than or equal to 40kg


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Qualified participants will be compensated up to $805.00 for time and travel if all visit are completed
