Summary:
Stone Oak Women’s Center & Clinical Trials is currently conducting an investigational research study for women with Iron Deficiency Anemia. Anemia is a below-normal level of hemoglobin or hematocrit in your blood. Hemoglobin is the protein in the red blood cells that carries oxygen to all parts of the body. Anemia may develop if your body is low in iron.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be female
Be 18 years of age or older
Have been diagnosed with Iron Deficiency Anemia
Have had a history of unsatisfactory oral iron therapy or unable to take oral iron therapy
Be available for weekly appointments
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study-related physical exams, study-related lab work, study medicine, and compensation for time and travel.
