Summary:
A randomised, double-blind, double-dummy, placebo controlled (with rescue medication), multi-center study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of fluticasone furoate inhalation powder in the treatment of asthma in adults and adolescents.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 12 years of age or older
•
Be using an inhaled steroid (such as Flovent or Pulicort)
•
Not be using a combination product (such as Advair or Symbicort)
•
Be a non-smoker in the last 3 months
•
Attend 8-10 evening visits over approximately 4-7 months
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study medication and laboratory testing.
