Study Summary:

Do you suffer from frequent heartburn? Volunteer for a research study.

You may qualify for a research study which is specifically seeking persons who “self-treat” their heartburn symptoms. The study medication is approved as a prescription medication but is not currently approved by the FDA as an Over-the-Counter (OTC) medication.

To qualify you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Experience frequent heartburn
Duration: 5 study visits over approximately 6 weeks

Benefits include study-related:
  • Study medication
  • Physical examinations
  • Lab work
  • Electrocardiograms (ECGs), which is a simple test that measures the electrical activity of the heart
Monetary compensation up to $225 provided for time and travel for those who qualify.
