Summary:

Do you have high cholesterol but don’t treat it with medicine? Volunteer for a research study for cholesterol.

You may qualify for a research study which compares 6 different doses of an investigational medication compared to an approved cholesterol medication currently on the market or placebo.

To qualify you must:

  • Be 18 to 75 years of age
  • Have “LDL cholesterol level” (ie: bad cholesterol) greater than 99 mg but less than 190 mg
  • DO NOT currently treat cholesterol with any medications OR control with “diet alone”
Duration: 8 study visits over approximately 20 weeks (**Note: at the conclusion of the 20 weeks volunteers will be given the option to enroll into a long-term study with the investigational medication provided at no cost)
