Summary:
This is a Type 2 diabetes study for patients who are taking metformin for their diabetes and need an add-on medication to their regimen. Patients will continue their usual metformin dose and receive study medication as add-on therapy.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at least 18 years or age
•
Be taking metformin for at least 3 months
•
Not be taking any other medications for diabetes
•
Have no changes to any of their medications for the last 90 days
Qualified Participants May Receive:
All study related medical care, physical exams, ECGs, glucometer, test strips, labs and study medication at no cost to them and receive $40 for each study visit completed.
