Study Summary:

Volunteers needed for a cholesterol study evaluating the combination of two approved cholesterol medications (Lipitor® and Zetia®) into one tablet.

You may qualify for a research study which puts these two currently approved cholesterol medications (atorvastatin and ezetimibe) into one single tablet. During the treatment phase of this research study there are no placebos and everyone will receive active medication.

To qualify you must:

  • Be 18 to 79 years of age
  • Have high cholesterol

Duration: 6 study visits over approximately 25 weeks

  • Study medication
  • Study-related physical examinations
  • Dietary counseling
  • Lab work
  • Electrocardiograms (ECGs), which is a simple test that measures the electrical activity of the heart

Monetary compensation up to $300 provided for time and travel for those who qualify.
