Study Summary:

A phase 2 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, repeat-dose study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of alks 37 in subjects with opioid-induced constipation.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be receiving prescribed opioid medication for the management of chronic, non-cancer pain
• Be expected to remain on a stable dosage regimen for the duration of the study
• Meet the criteria for opioid-induced constipation

Qualified Participants May Receive:

All study-related medications, all study-related medical care at no cost, and compensation for time and travel.
