Summary:
ICON Development Solutions is recruiting healthy women, ages 18-40, taking birth control pills, for a clinical research study.
This study is being done to evaluate if the blood levels, safety and tolerability of an oral contraceptive change when given alone compared to when given with the study drug. The study drug is being developed for the treatment of flu-like symptoms and will be given by IV infusion.
Vital signs, ECGs, physical examinations, blood and urine samples will be obtained and performed during this study.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be female
Be 18-40 years of age
Have a BMI between 19 and 30 kg/m2
Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
Have been taking monthly birth control pills for at least 1 month
Be able to complete 1 screening visit, 2 outpatient visits and 4 overnights (2 periods of 2 overnights)
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Compensation up to $1200.00 for time and travel, all study-related medical exams and lab work at no charge, including a pap smear if needed, and weekend schedules are available for those who qualify.
