Study Summary:

Do you take a prescription opioid pain medication and suffer from constipation?

You could be eligible to participate in a clinical research study looking at how well an investigational medication for treating the constipation caused by prescription opioid pain medications, is tolerated over a long period of time.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 to 84 years of age
• Be taking at least one opioid pain medication daily, experiencing constipation symptoms such as:
- fewer than three bowel movements per week
- hard/lumpy stools
- straining
- sensation of incomplete bowel movements
