Summary:
We are currently looking for study volunteers to participate in a clinical trial for patients diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. This clinical trial consists of approximately 9 visits over a 6 month time period.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have a diagnoses of Type 2 Diabetes
•
Be between the ages of 18-80 years old (see below for details)
•
(1) Be greater than 40 years of age and
on insulin therapy for at least the past 3 years
• (2) OR be less than 40 years of age OR started insulin earlier than 3 years after diagnosis
•
Be on a stable dose of insulin for more than 10 weeks at a dose ranging between 15 units per day and not more than 150 units per day
•
Not be on Januvia, Actos or Avandia
•
Not have HIV or a history of cancer within the past 5 years.
Qualified Participants May Receive:
All study related procedures, supplies and medications at no cost and compensation for time and travel up to $500.
