Study Summary:
This trial is looking for people with type 2 diabetes. The study will last approximately 31/2 months and involves some overnight stays. At the beginning of the study you will need to be in our overnight facility for three nights, and towards the end of the study, you will need to spend another two nights. The total number of visits will be about 20 short visits (approx one hour) occurring weekly. Study participants who qualify will receive blood and urine laboratory tests, home blood sugar monitor, EKGs or heart tracings, study related medical care, study medication and complete overnight accommodations and food.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have Diabetes, type 2
•
Currently be taking metformin
•
Be 18-65 years of age
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Up to $2,250 if you complete the entire study.
