Summary:
We are conducting a prospective, randomized, double-blind study on the efficacy of Xolair in Atopic Astyhmatic patients who have good lung capacity, but remain difficult to treat.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be between the age of 12 and 75 years old
•
Not be a current smoker and have less than a ten year smoking history of a 1 pack a day average (ex: 1/2 a pack a day for 20 years = a ten year 1 pk/day history)
•
Have a documented diagnosis of Asthma or has been experiencing shortness of breadth with or without exertion for at least 3 months
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study medication and a rescue inhaler, Physical exams, Comprehensive Labs, EKG, Chest X-ray, etc.
