Summary:

We are conducting a clinical study to define the efficacy and safety of new study medication (long Acting Anticholinergic) versus placebo. Approximately 820 patients will be randomized with a 3:1 randomization ratio to study med and placebo.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be Men or non-pregnant Women, non lactating over the age of 40 years
• Have a current or past smoking history greater than 10 years of a 1 pack/day average
• Be experiencing shortness of breadth with or without exertion for greater than 3 consecutive months(Chronic small airway obstruction)


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study medication or placebo, Physcal exams, Comprehensive Labs, EKG, Chest X-rays, etc.
