Summary:

This is a phase III multi-center, placebo-controlled study to determine the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication for the treatment of recurrent major depression.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Must be 18-65 years of age
• Not be taking Paxil
• Not have other psychiatric diagnoses. e.g., Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder
• Not be pregnant or lactating.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study related procedures and study medication at no cost. Reimbursement for time and travel.
