Does Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) result from heavy smoking?
COPD is a slow, progressive disease of the airways characterized by shortness of breath, a chronic cough and excess mucus when you cough. If you are a smoker or ex-smoker and have been diagnosed with COPD, you may qualify for a clinical research study of an investigational medication for the treatment of COPD.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be 40 years of age or older
Have a diagnosis of COPD
Be a smoker or ex-smoker
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study related medical care and investigational study medication at no cost. Compensation for time and travel is available.
