Summary:
Clinical trial currently recruiting newly diagnosed or diabetic patients who are on a stable diet/exercise program, but have not yet started anti-diabetic medication. This is a 52 week randomized, active-medication trial.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
•
Be newly diagnosed Type II Diabetics, or Diabetics who are on a stable diet/exercise program and have not yet started Anti-Diabetic medications
•
Meet additional entry criteria
Qualified Participants May Receive:
All study medication and home glucose monitoring supplies required for self-testing, and will be compensated $90.00 for each completed visit for time and travel.
