Summary:
Arizona Research Center is currently seeking volunteers with asthma to test an investigational study drug.
This study is being conducted to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational study drug for people with asthma. If you qualify to enroll in this study, your participation would last approximately 29 weeks and you would be required to make about 5 office visits to our clinic.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 12 years of age or older
•
Have been diagnosed by a doctor with persistent asthma for at least 1 year
•
Have been using an appropriate treatment for asthma for the last 4 weeks (such as Pulmicort, Flovent, Advair, etc.)
•
Have had an asthma episode that required treatment with a corticosteroid tablet or injection in the last years OR had an asthma-related hospitalization for observation (defined as an inpatient stay or a 24-hr stay) within the last year
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study medication, study-related physical exams, lab tests, other medical tests as necessary for the completion of the study, at no cost and compensation per visit.
