Summary:
We are currently recruiting people who experience constipation when they are taking opioid medication (like morphine) to participate in a research study. The research study involves a one time in-person interview.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have Opioid Induced Constipation
•
Be receiving a stable maintenance opioid regimen
•
Have the development of constipation symptoms since starting opioids
•
Have taken laxatives to help with bowel movements for at least four days over the past two weeks
Qualified Participants May Receive:
$100 for time, travel and participation. This money is provided in the form of an American Express gift cheque.
