Summary:
The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is currently enrolling for i-SPOT-D: International Study to Predict Optimized Treatment in Depression. The goal of this study is to identify genetic, biological and psychological markers that may predict response to antidepressants and help individualize treatments. Participation involves 2 clinic visits, and 8 follow-up phone calls and web-based questionnaires over 12 months.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be between 18 and 65 years of age
Be currently depressed
Be willing to take one of 3 FDA-approved antidepressants
