Summary:

A phase 2, randomized, double-blind, double-blind, double-dummy, placebo and active-controlled, multicenter, parallel group study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a new medication in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 18 and 70 years of age
• Be diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
• Be either drug-naive OR be treated with Metformin only


Qualified Participants May Receive:

  • All study-related visits, exams,and lab work provided free of charge.
  • Glucose testing meter and all testing supplies.
  • Compensation for time and travel may be provided.
