Clinical Trial 16507

Salt Lake City, Ut 84102

Summary:

This study is evaluating a medication for the prevention of future heart attacks, strokes, and possibly diabetes.

The medication is a small injection given in our office once every three months. The theory is that by reducing systemic inflammation, future heart attacks, strokes and possibly diabetes can be prevented. As a part of the study subject will have C-reactive protein tests performed. This new inflammation test may be an indicator of impending cardiovascular events.
