Summary:
Research study using an investigational product compared to placebo that may be used to treat Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in the future. This study is designed to examine how safe the drug is, how well the body is able to tolerate the drug, how much of the drug gets in your blood stream and the effect of the drug in certain laboratory tests. All eligible subjects must be able to come to our research center for: Eleven Outpatient Visits, including a Screening Visit to determine your eligibility and Two Inpatient Stays that are approximately 22 days apart. Each inpatient stay will be at least 3 days and 2 nights. Participation in the study will last approximately 14 weeks including screening. Qualified participants may receive up to $3,200.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Males or Females of non-childbearing potential who have High Triglycerides

Be between 30 and 70 years of age
