Summary:

Researchers are conducting two studies on the safety and effectiveness of a new inject able insulin for adults with diabetes, one on Type 1 diabetes and the other on Type 2 diabetes. To be eligible to participate, you need to be either:

a) an adult with Type 1 diabetes, or
b) an adult with Type 2 diabetes not adequately controlled with oral medications only.
If you participate, you will complete a detailed questionnaire, be screened for eligibility, and be provided with the new formulation of injectable insulin and instructed how and when to inject it. The studies will last for about one year.

Medical care and medications related to the study will be provided at no cost.
