Summary:

Do you smoke? Volunteer for smoking cessation clinical research study.

The study is comparing a prescription medication with two other smoking cessation treatments and placebo in adults who want to quit smoking. This study is particularly interested in any change in mood or other mental functioning so persons who may or may not be currently taking antidepressant medications may qualify.

To qualify you must:
• Be 18 to 75 years of age
• Smoke at least 10 cigarettes per day for one year
• Be willing an able to meet all study visit requirements

Duration: 15 visits over approximately 6 months

Qualified participants will receive all the following at no cost:

• Study medication
• Counseling (in person and phone)
• Physical Exams
• Lab work
• EKG

Monetary compensation up to $825 for time and travel expenses
