Summary:

Volunteers needed for Fibromyalgia research study.

This research study is evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational study medication in reducing fibromyalgia pain. The study will also assess changes in fatigue, mood, cognitive performance, and other quality of life factors. If you suffer from widespread pain or tenderness associated with fibromyalgia you may want to contact us.

This is the first time Coastal Carolina Research Center has worked with this investigational medication.

To qualify you must be:

• 18 to 59 years of age
• Have had fibromyalgia pain for at least 3 months
• Meet other study entry requirements

Duration: Up to 8 visits over approximately 3 months

Qualified participants will receive all the following at no cost:

Study-related:

• Study medication or placebo
• Physical exams
• Neurological exams
• Psychiatric assessments
• Lab tests
• ECGs

Qualified participants will receive compensation up to $370 for time and travel expenses. No insurance is required to participate.
